My desire to empower others started when I first discovered how to empower myself.
Hi, I’m Karen. When I was 29, my life was in shambles. I suddenly became a widow when my husband, Richard, was tragically killed. I lost my house, my car, my job and so much more.
I was in so much pain that I was living my life on autopilot—going through the motions and doing whatever it took to make it to the next day.
It wasn’t until the day my 2-year-old son walked into my room and asked “Mommy are you going to get up today?” that I knew I needed to change my life. Looking at him, I realized I couldn’t give up. I needed to begin my journey to healing so I could once again build a beautiful life for myself and my son. That’s when I discovered STOP & SHIFT and decided “I can do this.” It all started with one thought.
